Reverse song singing

Ok, I don't know whether this is real or dubbed but it looks real. For the first half of the clip there's this man performing banal things like popping balloons, drinking orange soda, showing us a clock, etc. All while singing some strange foreign song. Then the tape runs in reverse. What song is it? Fun!

I didn't even know that the hippo was kissing cousin to the whale but apparently it's not anymore:
